22/100: A Reflection

Not quite at that satisfying 25/100, but it’s what I’m feeling today, so I’m going to talk about it. Since…I’m not sure when, let’s say sometime in the last decade, I have beeing scrolling through Instagram and have come across The 100 Day Project. Usually I come across it about half way through the 100 days and think to myself how great it would have been if I had joined in. Other years, I see that the project starts in a few weeks and wonder what I could do to be involved. Last year, my baby boy was only a few months old, so participation was out of the question for me.

Now we are in 2023. I remembered the project last month and faced some of the same questions as years prior. I wondered if my passion for interior design could be included with all of the artists out there. To be honest, my particular involvement is probably a stretch of the definition of what the project is, but I feel like it captures the spirit the mission: to dedicate yourself every day to doing what you love to do.

I love interior design.

It’s exciting to me to figure out what the purpose of a space is and then how I can creatively lay things out to get the most out of the space available, making it beautiful in the process.

Ultimately, interior design is the backdrop of the life that is lived there. When done well, it makes the space a delight to use. So why not make your life delightful? You deserve it.
